Solar subsidies make people buy into solar in a cloudy country, typical town on the route, what was nowhere near the steepest hill of the day (but with sign near nice church), and what was actually a very helpful DIY sign from a farmer, supplementing the official signs. I didn't know which way to go until I saw it.
