We had our first mechanical issue of the trip (not counting some tightening of bolts and tweaking of brakes) when Daria got a flat rocking down a dirt road pretty fast. I think this was the first time I have ever changed a flat out of doors- it was hard keeping the tire free of rocks.

Did you ever have trouble finding soft, or at least flat, places tocamp?
